Sunday Worship
Join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30am for connection, singing and time in God’s Word. If you’re looking for a place of acceptance and encouragement, this is the spot for you!

Lunch Break Bible Study
In collaboration with Anamesa, an online church community, we go live with an in-depth Bible study at 12:30pm on Thursdays in the Parlor. Bring your brown-bag lunch and join us earlier at Noon for a casual meal and good conversation.

Sunday Bible Study
Before the Sunday morning Worship Service, step into our Library for some extra time in the Word at 9:30am. There’s coffee and treats and a relaxed atmosphere, so feel free to drop in.

Faith That Frees
Faith That Frees is a Woman’s Study Group that meets on Saturdays from 9:30 - 11:00am in the Parlor. We are currently reading and discussing the book “Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World” by Joanna Weaver. If you’d like to join us, stop in and we’ll make sure you get a copy.

Congregators
Every third Friday night at 6:30pm, from September through May, we share a potluck meal together and enjoy some good connection with friends. There’s usually a theme night or a special presentation for a little fun, so bring the whole family. Bring your best dish to pass and spend the evening with us. A free-will donation to cover costs is accepted, but not mandatory.

Pilgrim Pals
A safe and encouraging group designed to connect developmentally disabled people with each other and with the whole congregation. We meet once a month on Saturdays for a fun activity, plus special events thought out the year.

Women’s Fellowship
All women are encouraged to join us on the third Wednesday of each month at 1:00 pm for fellowship and to help plan and execute events for the church: Rummage sales, church fair, and community outreach are some examples.

New Member’s Class
Are you interested in joining FCC Wayne as a member? Periodically, we’ll have an instructional class to explain all the details of what itmeans to be part of a Congregational church and how you can be a vital part of it. For details, see any of our deacons or our minister.

Chair Exercise Class
Interested in a low-impact but fun way to stay active and healthy? Join us every Wednesday at 12:30pm in the Parlor for our weekly Chair Exercise class. Everyone is welcome to participate.

Boy Scouts of America Troop 1736
Troop 1736 has been chartered to First Congregational Church and has been our guest since 1942. The Scouts meet every Tuesday in their own space downstairs from 7:30-9:00pm. Monthly camp events and a big summer camp experience are just some of the highlights, along with earning merit badges and working on ranking up. Scoutmaster Cory Buckalew and a well-trained staff lead the troop. For more info, email us at 1736troop@gmail.com.

Friendly Quilters Quilt Guild
This group of crafters meets the last Monday of each month to share ideas and independant projects. Over the years, they have provided quilts for disabled veterans, NICU babies and other worthy causes. If you love to quilt or just want to learn more, feel free to join us.
